“We Loved Our Mountain Suite Log Cabin!” This campground was great. My sister and I booked the mountain suites which are two log cabin trailers that are new and side by side. They were awesome. We brought our planned out dinners for all of us and ate together every evening outside on the picnic tables. We used the gas grill that is provided for each mountain suite. My cabin had the two bunkbeds for the children, a queen size bedroom for adults, bathroom, kitchen, eating area and living room. It was perfect. We did use the campground showers a couple times and they were always hot and clean. We also used the laundry facilities."It was $125.00 per night but I would highly recommend for people with children. We brought our children's bikes, basketball, and toys. They loved riding around the park, swimming in the pool, playing games in the arcade every evening and shooting hoops on the basketball court. Alot more to do for children staying here rathern than staying in a hotel for the same price and just having a room and a pool. It was beautiful weather so we had the windows open during the night and during the day it did not get very warm even though it was August. These cabins have ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom and a plug in fan stored in the closet that we used. I believe they are planning on putting air conditioning in them soon.

We ate the pancake breakfast on Sunday morning and it was delicious. We also enjoyed the ice cream social. We cooked our meals but they serve meals every evening at the front of the campground for a small charge.

“Best "in-town" Campground in the Springs!” We really enjoyed our time at Garden of the Gods Campground. We stayed there for about 5 months in a travel trailer. This is not your wilderness campground. It is located beautifully at the base of the Rocky Mountains very near Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods Park, Cliff Dwellings, Pike's Peak and Cave of the Winds

Families, couples, retirees... I highly recommend this place. Some people came and went after a couple/few days, others like us stayed for a couple months. It was really neat to meet all the other campers.

They have social events like ice-cream, and cook-outs. Fire rings, and grills provided. Groceries near-by, beer nearby! Have fun here! It was one of our favorite times in the Springs!

Loved it, will definitely go back!” We reserved only one night and within 2 hours we decided it was great and reserved another 5 nights.

There are at least 2 pools(one adults only), video games, play areas, a cantina for meals/snacks/entertainment, several bbq areas and picnic tables scattered all over. They give you a list of the activities/meals planned there so you can plan ahead. Everything was super cheap and easily accessible if you have children. most things were between $.50 - $2.00. The most expensive dinner was $7. I don't think you can beat that anywhere.

We were there in the week after tourist season and before Labor Day weekend so we had that whole end of the campground pretty much to ourselves. One night a family with two small children stayed in the adjoining room and I was worried about the noise. Not a problem at all, we never heard them.

The RV section of the grounds had quite a lot of people who looked as if they had been there for quite a while. Everyone we saw looked to be enjoying their stay.

The a/c worked just fine while we were there. The water pressure in the shower was so good it was almost scary. The dumpsters were located conveniently on the way in/out. The grounds were unbelievably clean and manicured.
